Wakulla Book Review: The Hermit by Robert E. McGinnis

I believe that Dr McGinnis has totally outdone his mindset with this book. It was informative, decisive and worthy to be read.

As in the beginning, I wasn't too very sure what we had here, but wow, did the story come about. I even had feelings that I in no way expected to come out. Very wet feelings.

This book was a very emotional book in that I was trying to tell Bill Fain how to live his life. Problem was, that some of the things just went bad no matter what he did.

In the ending, which occurred about fifty pages before it should have, things did turn out very good for everyone, meaning Bill and Saundra. But? What were the twins like? How did they grow up? Was Saundra acceptable of her new life? To go from being a C E O of a large corporation, to being nothing, and living life out in the wilds like the Hermit?

I would like to see the book that answers these questions.

Thank You,

Wakulla Book Review - When Darkness Tries to Hide, by Stacy A. Padula

Title: When Darkness Tries to Hide.
Author: Stacy A. Padula

This is a book about hope. Hope in the most serious and desperate of circumstances. Hope for healing and hope for deliverance. Hope that is only found in Jesus Christ.

This tale of high school students facing drug/alcohol addiction, peer pressure, the desire for acceptance, and unexpected tragedy hits the mark. Stacy Padula accurately portrays the battles young adults (and even older adults) go through daily. She identifies that “in the” feeling that many try to fill with alcohol, drugs, sex, and other things, and shows the reader the one thing that can fill the void—a relationship with God through Jesus.

Stacy Padula masterfully shares the Gospel of Christ in the pages of this book in a way that really helps the reader to understand. Through the characters of the story, hope, joy, peace and love are evident. But Ms. Padula does not shy away from the struggles that also are a part of the Christian life.

I will recommend her books to teens and adults alike. Well done, Stacy! God is going to use these books mightily.

Their insights, comments, and encouragement mean a lot. Steve said I (Lorilyn Roberts) could visit the prison and I hope to do that sometime in the near future. I ultimately look forward to the day when we are all free in the Lord's presence to worship together our Risen King!

Wakulla Book Review: SCARS by Patience Prence

Prisoner Review

By Bob.

SCARS:  An Amazing End-Times Prophecy Novel
Author: Patience Prence

I have in front of me at this time an excellent book about the experiences of an extremely young girl. No matter how hard you try, a person cannot stop themselves from becoming part of this girl's life.

Ms. Prence takes us from the beginning to the very end of the book with you wanting more. I personally feel that Ms. Prence should have been more explicit at the end about what happened to her father and brother.

Ms. Prence did an outstanding job on this book and I was very fortunate to have been allowed to read it. She did an extremely good job on the book and it shows she is a Christian to boot.

This is one of those books that’s meant to be read again, soon.  To believe, because for you not to believe, as this lady says, then you may just have a problem.

Thank you for this book.  I look forward to reading more of her books.  It was a bone-chilling hair-raiser, but worth every minute I spent reading it.  A very hard book to adjust to, but worth it. Thank you.
